grrrrrr...

I am on my break at work tonight, and although work is usually pretty bearable, I am working with these 2 guys from the local high school tonight, and I am about ready to murder them. They tell rediculous and crude jokes to each other in front of customers, and don't do anything when they are told. This would almost be ok if we werent sooooo busy tonight.

On a side note, I found out recently that SIUE's concert choir will be giving a broadway concert on campus on April 25th. We are doing some great music, so if anyone is interested, let me know and I will get you the particulars.

yet another concert!

On Tuesday night, I have a concert at Christ Church Cathedral, and I am super excited, because we are singing some super cool peices. Our selections include:

a Bach Motet, ("Lobet Denn Hern" and "Alleluia")
a Charles Ives peice where the ladies sing in C Major and the men in g minor
5 Hebrew Love Songs by Eric Witacre - in a word, "beautiful"

It will be an amazing concert, if anyone is interested. We have a string quartet playing with us in some songs throughout the night.

It starts at 7pm at Christ Church Cathedral in St. Louis, and I can pretty much guarantee goosebumps at least once during the concert.

isn't it nice when...

...you can wear flip flops and a light jacket or sweater

...a class you were dreading turns out to be ok, even slightly enjoyable

...another class you were dreading is cancelled, making it 2 classes you didn't have to go to

...you have time to actually sit and enjoy breakfast

...your teacher doesn't collect the homework you didn't do over spring break

...you only have like 6 or so weeks of school to go, and then you are free for a while

...all of these nice things happen on the same day (a monday too!)
