which to read?

Hey everyone, I need your help! In my english class, we are doing a type of book report. We have to choose from 6 banned books. If anyone has read any of these, (I know you have read at least one of these) let me know which ones you have read, and which one you recommend.

A Brave New World
The Catcher in the Rye
Farenheit 451
Lolita
The Handmaid's Tale
Balzac and the Little Chinese Seamstress

Help me pick a good one!

I've read Brave New World, Fahrenheit 451 and The Handmaid's Tale. All were fascinating, especially reading The Handmaid's Tale as a woman. I've got to throw in my vote for Fahrenheit 451, though, which I initially read in grade school and quickly became a valued favorite. To be honest, I didn't even realize it was a "banned" book. There was also a movie made of it in the 60's(?) by the British(?), which is a fantastic rendering, if a little antiquated. It helped me reach an even deeper understanding. I highly recommend it - but read the book first!

P.S. - Thanks for fixing it so we can comment now. :)

(And don't tell c2 I never read Catcher in the Rye. ;-) )

* GASP* you didn't? I read that one in high school, and absolutely loved it! I highly recommend it to you!

Actually, I picked "Balzac and the Little Chinese Seamstress" simply because I had never heard of it!
